Likely to be leaking from the sump seal (or even a hole in your sump - they're made from thin cheesium metal).
Wipe off the oil and see if you can spot where it's coming from
I know that I really ideally needed an oil change and filter change, but recently I've noticed some oil spots on the drive, not too sure if it's my car or the partners because I know hers definately has an oil leak, however my car looks very oily underneath the engine on the drivers side.
Is there anyway I can fix this problem, what oil and what filters do you recommend as well.
Cheers!

Mine has leak from cam gasket. Had it for years.
My partner's got that on her Rover, that's a common problem apparently!?!
Anyway what oil shall I get for my car I know the previous owner left a bottle of cheap 20w50 in the boot of the car, I was shocked but don't know if it was put into the car or not.
I was hearing 10w40 you can hear the engine ticking on that, someone said to me use 0w40 or 5w40 what would be best and fully synthetic or part?
Part Synthetic 5w40 is your best bet madaaaaarlin.
Fantastic, the only thing is that's one of the most expensive one's. Haha, thanks to my trade card I will get a little discount. Shall I go for the Magnatec, or Edge? I think Edge only comes in Fully Synthetic though.
Not a clue on that one!
Ask the guy from Opie oils!
I might buy it from on their site because we dont do much 5w40 at work only rubbish brands and only fully synthetic, I guess it has to be part then!?
Just curious because I looked on Castrol's website and they recommend this when I gave the search my registration.
Engine
EDGE 0W-30 2.8L
MAGNATEC 10W-40 A3/B3
So is 0w30 good to go for instead John?!
Sorry not a clue! never even heard of 0w 30!!!!!!!
