Anyone insured on a punto gt with 1 years ncb and main driver? if so can you tell me the insurance company? the cheapest i could find is 2200 third party, fire and theft! cheers

im with quinn at the moment on a punto 75sx for £1000 with 1 years ncb and they wouldnt insure me because im 18

Stick with the 75 for another year mate..2K on insurance for a year?? Is that the going rate for you younger guys
You will struggle being 18 mate. Worth waiting unless you wanna pay 2k+
the 75sx is a 5 door, 1.2 sporting 16v is £1100 to insure so im tempted. i also went on insuresupermarket.com and made myself 19 with 2 years ncb and that was £1800 for the gt. so i was thinking engine conversion to a gt? and claim it as a 1.2 so i save alot of money over insurance and probs would work out cheaper in the long run of insuring a gt. does anybody know how roughly the cost for a engine conversion is on a punto? cheers
That would be illegal mate. If you convert to a GT, you should insure it as a GT!!!
