    'Project Chat'

why is there a section for projects, and then a seperate secion for project chat? personaly i think its confusing and not really needed as the chat will surly relate to whats going on in the project page, and if you have to keep jumping back and forth to understand what the chat is about then people are going to get confused. personaly i prefered it how it was before.

But if people want to check out somones ongoing project, then they would have to trawl pages of general chit chat.

I like it this way IMO.. if give people an easy way to blog thir project & peeps folllow each project easier.

Exactly. It's there to keep the chat out of the project so it's easier to follow.

yeah i get that, but surely the chat relates to the project so people would have to keep going back and forth between the two to understand the chat?

I seriously disagree with this, its a daft move.

If people used the last post button they wouldnt need to trawl at all.

What use is it chatting about one thread, in another. This is truely daft!

    i agree with this thread!

it is a bit pointless imo! a thread creator might now want to keep checking back and forth to see comments etc..

Like i said Prior, if anyone wants the rammal clearing from a project thread then they can PM a mod, me specifically as i dont mind doing it, or report it and state its got too chit chatty.

Crossed into sillyness with this second section IMO.

I'm not changing it back now.

It for the best whether you feel like it is or not.

Was a lot better the way it was before, i quite enjoyed sitting there and reading the progress and people opinions on it. Think Dan's idea is the best solution
