yes there was big time issues with the delta running gear, totally different set up, thats why i went for the q4... but thats no piece of cake either

What was involved in getting the 20VT into the Punto mate?

alot of time and hard work, and alot of p**sing around

Cant see how you can state the above as you only knew the Q4 was the better gear untill you emailed me, bout a week ago!!!

my nameis matt i`ve been told your the person to ask when it comes to a 4 wheel
drive punto.... could you tell me what hubs and rear assembly i would need to make a
punto mk2 into a 4 wheel drive?

oh thanks for that information i bought a lancia delta integrale, and a coupe 20v
turbo, what i done was put the engine in the mk2 punto and mounted her front wheel
drive, but i i then decided to put her 4 wheel drive, so i took the 4 wheel drive
system off the delta but the rear end is totally diffent, i have had my sump cut and
remoulded now, the gearbox fitts with out the passenger wheel rubbing it as i
changed the mount and 5th gear cover on the integrale gearbox, i just really needed
to know what to do with the rear end, but thanks for that mate

my bad, i can tell you now that was more than a week ago, i was already in talks with the bloke before (3 months ago) about this q4 system,

when i bought the delta i didnt know the q4 system fitted better, cuz the bloke from slovina said u had been in touch wid him wanting to do the 4x4 convertion but couldn`t cuz of money

hate to tell you this.... Q4 and the Delta 4WD systems are the same! as are the engines, and also the floorpan i believe..
