Taking off the bumper and arch liners today to change over the driveshafts and boost pipes, while cleaning things up a bit;
Took the arch liner out and saw this :
Yes thats expanding foam instead of a gromet.
And the boost pipes mid de-gaffa taped .... note the red one is actually black with insulating tape on it:

I bet that'll be a right pain to get out, and it'll hold water so rot from the inside out i'd imagine.
