they guy says its overheating but has had the head done recently he also says says water pump is fine and nothing is mixing???

this has confused me also he says the pipes at the back of engine arent getting as hot as the ones at the front???

any ideas could this be somat simple like thermostat?? or somat more costly?? ie head been done wrong and needs doing again???

just got this off the guy regarding the overheating......

oil and water hasnt mixed heaters blow warm then cold warm then cold but it goes straight into red after abart 5 miles of drivein



does that sound like system needs bleeding???

Could be an air lock, could be the head gasket, could be a cracked head...

but i thought if he has been messing with it surely he would of bled the system up???

To me sounds like a huge air lock, had this a on mk2 sporting recently, blowing out cold, car over heating ect so bled the ststem and it was fine.

what is the worst it could be and roughly how much would it cost to put right???

i am honestly just hopeing it needs bleeding up or fans aint kicking in but i cant see?? but then again i aint 100% clued up on puntos!!

This is the one on ebay isnt it? best thing to do is take the AA along with you let them diagnose it takes all the pressure of you.
But like i say sounds like air in the system, its just had new head so it says so surely cant be that

yeah is the one i aint a member of the aa though gonna take a tow rope i think and just buy it then drop it off at a garage.....

just hope its not really expensive.....
