Reply With Quoteit's a one way valve reducer by the looks of it...only allows fluid to flow in one direction.....and also reduces the pipe size.
can anyone tell me what the job of this is its in the tubes going from the water bottle to the front screen washer jets but i want to no what its job is

i pulled it off a car in the scrap yard today when i went to get a new ariel as the lugs broke off mine anyway the one on my car doesnt have anything coming out of it on the top (black bit) just a little hole where as this one does :S

think its from the water bottle hoses connect to it then to the wiper jets
its as above a one way valve took mine off other day as it was leaking and draining all my washer fluid over floor
exactly what mine did yesterday ive put new one on now and its stopped just woundered whats its job was.
also while im here how do you remove bonnet washer jets on a mk1
