Hi All!!

My name is Ed and I have been helping Rick (Rixf666 - already a member) rebuild his GT over the last year +. I have totally been converted as I currenty drive an XR2I (you can see pics of her on Ricks project thread) and was thinking of buying a RST version but after taking Ricks GT across Europe (we went for a driving holiday through the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Switz and France) a few years back it has been a seed that has grown and grown and i just have to have one!!! Then when Rick had the incident in South End where that total idiot pulled out on us and we had to swerve to avoid him and wrote the car off I have been helping him ever since get his motor back on the road. It started out as helping a mate but has turned into something much bigger, I wanted a Punto GT a while ago but now I NEED one! Lovely cars to drive and sooooo much fun....must have one....and it helps that I now know the car insdie and out in all sections.

Anyway I actually do not have one @ present but am looking to buy one ASAP. Gonna be going throuhg the cars for sale section to see if there is anything going....cant wait to own one!!

So that's my hello to everyone and I'm sure some of us will chat soon.

welcome to the forum dude, it's about bloody time! now you can help me update the project thread.

A big thank you for all the help you have given me, i know you didnt really want to at first but you seem to be enjoying it more and more as we went along. couldnt have done it without all your help, probably would have given up on it a long time ago if you didnt.

So theres gonna be two lovely GT's parked outside the house soon, NYCE!

Oh by the way, Ed wants a midnight blue one if anyone has one for sale, let him know.
Has johnboyturbo sold his one yet, something like that would be ideal.

Hey good to be here thanks...

gonna be having a real good look this weekend for a GT3, I'm really getting excited now as I am real close to actually having my own GT....yay!!!

I'll let ya know how I get on.....



Also having another crack @ starting Ricks, tried last night but batt was well dead and we think the old key fob has sommat to do with it....

we shall see, could be a test run this weekend!!!

Hello All!!

Well I have found my punto !!!!

I have bought the one that johnboyturbo was selling, awesome midnight blue with a couple of minor probs that I am gonna fix on the weekend. Went up to Milton Keys with Rick last night and when I saw it....



love @ first site!!!

got me insurance with Adrian Flux if anyone is interested....not a bad price either.

So I'll be out on the open road soon enough....yay!!!
