befor i put a new amp in, i believed it was the rca cable that wasnt switching my amp on , i thought i had it sorted since the new amp turns on, so maybe it could be the rca cable?

Anyone have any idea what could be the problem?
Btw the amp switches on fine, and its not in protective mode. and all fuses are still intact.
i had this and it was the fuse in the end (in the power cable )

Would the power cable fuse be broken ?(ie snapped) if it wasnt blown. or would it not nessercilally be snapped?

i mean if it was blown sorry.

okay i have one for you...

mine subs have ceased to work in the past as there wasnt enough charge in the battery, try another battery or a set of jump leads.

also check the settings on the headunit make sure the bass isnt on 0.

As everyone has said, if youhave tried a different amp, sub and headunit and they all "should" work but they dont.
Then the only other parts of the system are the Live and earth cable, the Remote lead, RCA leads, speaker cable and the Power source (battery)

I dont remember reading anything about you checking the earth cable is making good contact at the earth point? you could try that if you havent already

    eliminating the remote wire

Ive just tryed changing the earth cables placement and that didn't work make it work,, its on the same earthing point as the rear light, ive tryed a different pair of RCA leads, and its not the RC(remote) cable as it wouldn't turn on without it?
completely stumped, i guess the only thing to do is to take it to a proper car audio place

Have you got a multimeter to test continuity?

Just check that each lead is not shorting out anywhere etc
