    car swap-saxo vs hgt

Been offered a x reg HGT in blue. has 63000 miles, full service history, will hopefully have full years mot and also been serviced.
I have been trying to sell my saxo vtr with no luck as yet (know most of you dont like saxo's but please bare with me ) however this guy has said he will do a straight swap for my vtr. this has 63000 miles on, needs a new door strip and posibly a new windscreen as it has scrapes from the window wipers.

would the swap be a good deal????

    any advice appreciated.

what reggie is the vtr mate, phase 2 etc...

Ive actually got a lot of time for saxos, for what they are, their pretty nippy, cheap insurance and handle like their on rails.

the only thing i did notice was the head unit bit had lines down it as though it was fading or something, just wondered if this was common and also if it can be replaced.

its a 53 plate, been trying to sell it for about 4 - 5 weeks, not one phone call about it.

As ive had a 51 reg VTR and a y reg HGT and the VTR felt faster, i found it simple to use and loved driving it. The HGT however had poor mpg didnt handle as well and i just didnt get on with it.

or you could get a GT i had much more fun in mine than both of the above.

we got gt (shortys gt, my boyfriends) i wanted a vtr for ages, then got one, had it for about 18mths and just feel like i want a change. not much to saxo's really, yes, it is quick but the hgt i been in today was just as good, if not better really.

its a garage i am looking to do the swap with you see, and as i am female, just wondered if i was getting a good deal or not so all opinions welcome as it will make me decide in the end what to do.
