Why do so many people like the Civic Type R?

not to keen on the civic type r cos there pretty common, would rather have an older civic type r, super rare , with £20k would probably go for an RX7 or a MR2 with crazy mods wouldn't get the focus cos again there really common..........plus it's a ford!!!

very gd handling, pickup. price isn't bad for 200bhp. and good mpg when driven softly. like heck! hehe. it actually had faster circuit times than the S2000, due to it's cornering abilities etc.

I have to agree with Dave, Please feel free to name a car that you can buy brand new (becuase comparing it with the likes of a R33 Skyline is just plain daft!) in the same price bracket that performs as a CTR &amp: is reliable. You dont get much for £15,995 ya know! Just ask an ST170 owner!

All that said thou im slightly biased as I'm currently saving my pennies to but a CTR in about 10months time.
