If it was a g60 or 40 can never rememeber which is golf or polo, then maybe. But for a standard GTi or what ever it is thats alot of cash.
But as long as he is happy like you said, then its all good.

Golf's the G60 LHD, Polo's the G40.

It is alot of money though, my mate aint long bought a mint G60 for less than that.

actually there were about 50 of the total g60's made as rhd but the rallye which was the 4 wheel drive wide body 1 was only made in lhd also 5k is alot for a non BIG BUMPER gti my mate pay 3.5 for his on a J plate and its don 75k and is mint

nice , imo i wulda gone for a mk1 there fookin lush , i dont like the spoiler that came on it but i love them wheels , full smoked lights good 2
