While driving a car yes. However it wasnt Illgal to have a car and not have it insured. As it is now.

The fact that more people have to buy it now even if they are not driving their cars.

Yes, that doesnt equate to - you can't own a car and not have it insured does it!

You either have to have it taxed and insured, or SORN and not insured.

You said you can't not have insurance on a car now. If i bought a car, chucked it in my garage, SORNed it and didn't insure it - Whats illegal/breaking the law about that?!!!!!!!!!!!!

What you've just pasted re-itterates the fact if its SORNed it doesnt have to be insured (in the exclusions at the bottom) lol
