    pre mix fuel?

imports are mapped for the higher ron petrol they use in japan you just need to get the highest octane you can get i.e 100 ron from tescos or the popular optimax

the specs show the uk turbo as 214bhp, which is standard. I forgot to mention mines got PPP, that is a factory modifaction designed to bring UK specs up to jap spec, power wise. Thats the reason I forgot, because its a factory modificaton. There are tonnes of uk specs that have PPP for sale. Why go import I say.

    presume you have test drove?

i had a driving day recently and got to drive an sti wrx, which was basically a turboed one and its brakes were non servo adjusted so were shitpads. I dont know if thats a common thing on the sub's but I found it horrendous, pressing feet down hard on the brakes and receiving little stopping power. Make sure you get some abs shi t going down. Other than that and the cun t commonality, they are nice cars...

me? I got 4pots up front, but they are not responsive as I thought they would be.
I'd like one of those driving days. did they let you drive i on your own, no limited revs etc?

im not saying dont buy a uk one its my observation that the jap imports are a better choice.

I'd never have an import over a UK. Most imports haven't been imported properly, a greay import, have no history on them at all. An impreza is a n easy tune. And the newer UK specs will be a lot more reliable than an old thrashed WRX.
The other reason that the imports are more powerful is because, on the pre-facelift classic shape, WRX's were imports only.
