sounds like it needs replacing to me.
D-Link DSL-G604T ADSL router - ADSL connection is present, status light is flashing as expected, but the 4 LAN connections beneath are going haywire. There is only one LAN connection to one pc but even that is not working correctly; in some ports XP complains of a network cable unplugged and in others it'll connect but wont assign an IP address.
I've already tried the reset button but to no avail. Any ideas? I know the description above isn't the easies to understand, but its not an easy problem to describe...

No, its six months or so old. There's a possibility its kippered, just wondered if anyone else has had a simialr problem?
to get problems on the LAN ports like suggested, chances are its dead.

almost certainly dead. and if it is six months old then it doesnt matter anyway as your 12month manufacturers guarantee covers you for a replacement
