It's just that when you reply and stuff, this is what it says under the emoticons...

    Options
    HTML is OFF
    BBCode is ON
    Smilies are ON

Just wondering why it has been diabled!?!

In the PhpBB admin, you have the option under General Admin, to enable or disable HTML features for users, this overides all user profiles and become a sort of user template.

From phpBB administrator the following quote is ...

    "Can I use HTML?,
That depends on whether the administrator allows you too, they have complete control over it. If you are allowed to use it you will probably find only certain tags work. This is a safety feature to prevent people abusing the board by using tags which may destroy the layout or cause other problems. If HTML is enabled you can disable it on a per post basis from the posting form.
    "

    Hope this helps
