anyone seen the new specs for the petrol sporting? i'm disappointed to say the least.
95bhp petrolAnd for those who only begin to enjoy themselves at 100 bhp, the Grande Punto Sporting offers a choice between the 120 bhp or 130 bhp 1.9 MultiJet, both of which come with 6-speed gearboxes and variable geometry turbine with Intercooler. Topping the petrol range is the nippy 1.4 16v unit which produces 95bhp.
how crap is that, the diesel is 120/130bhp, has bags of torque and does 50mpg!

95bhp is the same as the mk2b sporting and they are slow but its still not bad for a 1.4
I assume it's the same 1.4 from the old sporting?
I think that sold quite well so I guess why would they change it, and it's a fantastic car for the younger driver, or someone wanting something cheap.
Lets just hope there's a big jump to the GT version!
