Are you sure that it isn't a centrifugal type supercharger. It seems pretty high up in the engine bay, and you can't see from the pic where the exhaust manifold is.
Either way, it must have serious boost. It's got a ignition module per cylinder to make a powerful enough spark so it doesn't get blown out by the pressurised charge!!!
Can't guess what car it's in though. ?!
