    GT rear disc conversion.

Basically my trailing arms were fooked, and the wonderful GTdean had a GT rear beam going spare with nearly new trailing arms. so, today we fitted it all i needed to get was calipers and i got them from sterns old GT that gez is breaking.

    before..

    elevate car...

    Remove wheels.

put bricks under front wheels to stop car rolling down the street

remove old 60sx rear beam and bleed fooked brake lines (that were supposedly replaced by fiat a year ago, LIKELY)

fit suspension to new GT rear beam

remove nasty rounded off rusted in bolt

    fit GT calipers to beam

fit GT beam back onto 1.poo

fit new brake lines that cost £2.80, bargain!

    Any noticeable performance difference?

Is it roughly 25% bias to the rear?

lol yes very happy. car handles soooo mch better, didnt realise how mch of a difference nakered trailing arms make! also, braking is alot better and sharper, its hard to describe the difference as they are still bedding in, but there is defo a difference. AND the handbrake actually does something!

lol @ ash, picking up the new front bumper tomorrow afternoon from the spraying shop, unfortunately wont be on the car for the RR tomoz

hopefully wont be a GT wannabe for that much longer!!

unfortunately no red dots for the back, but the discs are nearly new, as are the pads! got more important things to spend money on at mo unfortunately. GT front red dots will hopefully be on maybe next weekend.
