jim you know me and i know you...
i feel confident in a sorted GT with 170bhp and some good springs and shocks, we'd give a stock RS a run for its money.

It's far too easy to say yer but if I did this and then did that I could keep up.
I have no doubt that would be true. But then what happens if the RS owner does this and then that as well......
You have to compare standard against standard, it's the only rough benchmark we have.
no your wrong mate, the question here was would my modded GT keep with a standard FRS.
yer cos standard would be very fair... 2ltr 16v Turbo vs 1.4 8v turbo...
Didn't realise his punto was modded :SOriginally Posted by minifreak
That's my point mate; it's a LOT more carOriginally Posted by minifreak
it is, so a mildly modded GT vs stock RS would then be fair
id race one but would be a waste of optimax
lol i had a go with a RSon the A500 and up to 125 keepin nice with it then he just started pulling away now i now they can do 145MPH cos my mate raced one and on bends they grip like **** to your bed sheets and if you had 200BHP he would come passed you after 130 when the GT gearbox tops out
