    I thought side exit was illegal on a road car?

    I know TVR had problems with their rear mounted side exit exhausts and have reverted to straight out the back.

    no they are not

    the volume is the only issue assuming the exhaust doesn't poke out past the body work.

    i think i'll go for a hidden one, that way if i dont like it, i can always change it later,
    whereas if i cut the bumper specially for an exhaust, i have to stick with it.

    what would a single box system on a 55 with a decat, and possibly a supersprint manifold, sound like?
    would it be too loud? and would i get that shitty rasp sound?

    very good point. i might just decat my standard gt exhaust lol.
