    I think it's because of the light flywheel in them. They aren't that heavy, 1186kg without aircon IIRC. Compared to most modern hot hatches they are light, things like the VXR, Gti are both about 1400kg.

    There is no better feeling than beating a more expensive motor ! If you can beat a CTR, go and find a BMW 330 Ci, because you'll beat one of those too... that would really piss someone off !

    tried and tested with seb2 setup, sat with one for a while

    Those things have some mid-range though ive seen one at it before in my old gt and fook are those things quick!

    Sat with a type R the other night on my way home. Wasnt impressed with it at all. In standard form they are slow for the power they produce, must be a heavy car.

    Been left for dust by many though, so either this one was nackered or the lad couldnt drive.
