Turbos add power.

When tuning a NA to get >100hp/l the revs just get silly. And I dont see no 2litre Ford revving to 19000rpm everyday to make 800hp other than it being an F1 engine lasting 200 miles.

Turbos certainly are the ONLY way forward for real power from small displacements and they certainly are cheaper to do than NA tuning.

Compare the costs of taking a 2l NA to 800hp without Turbo charging vs 2l turbo to 800hp.

This is why people who favour NA will never actually beat a turbo in a straight line.

Theyre not the best on a track perhaps, but if your buying a punto your not wanting to go round bends.

Your especially not buying the HGT to go fast in a straight line either.
