Ripspeed induction kit - surprisingly good?

Just looking for a sealed induction kit like the viper / bmc etc because the pipercross will be sucking loads of warm air in, not good.

    Halfords equivalent to the BMC:

    BMC is £160 -£180
    Ripspeed one is £69.99

Was looking at it today and the filter inside is identical to a k&n and the carbon box is good quality. ANyone have any thoughts on this or anyone got one???

    Cheers

The Taiwanese filter matierial is as good if not better than the likes of BMC and K&N. Also the constrution on them is very sound. I would be intereted in opening one of the halfords CDA boxes up and comparing it to the BMC CDA internals to see if it flows as well. But then for £70 you have the same look and you are probably not to bothered by flow rates etc.

If you could open it up it wasnt very obvious, i know the bmc ones will open to allow the filter to be cleaned. Ive got a seb4.1 gt so want a good induction kit but you cant really complain for 69.99...
