I was wondering if any of you can help!
Ive just received my first speeding fine this morninig from greater manchester police (i was caught just after the u2 gig last tuesday night!). I was doing 66 in a 40 mph area totally unaware of the limit!
The letter does not state the fine or points i will be given but is it more than likely going to be 3 and 60 quid or not? Anyone got any similar experiences!
And yes i know its naughty speeding!

iirc, officially you should receive a summons for doing 66 in a 40 according to police guidelines.
However, in all likelihood the fine will be between £45-£100 and up to 4 points - but this is dependent on road conditions and so on.
so ill have to goto court? btw-i was caught at 23:16
