    New Motherboard & CPU(s)

I'm going to upgrade to a new motherboard.

I'm looking for one which will support (a) at least 1GB ram memory, (b) 2 CPU's.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

I'd opt for a San Diego 3700+ CPU and a MSI K8N Neo Motherboard.

I would say if u need duel CPU then go for Opteron, there duel core aswell . Could use the Asus K8N-DL. To be honest though for a normal machine this is probably OT even for a games machine, u may aswell just use the Athlon 64. If it is for a server then fair play.....

The unit will be used as a server, hence the need for power. Also, we don't want it to be good now, but poor in a years time. Something that will last for a while.

Use Opterons for a Server mate. Spunk all over Xeons
