Flatnose? Is that what you talking about?
with pop up headlights, made in the 70's/80's and apparently only distributed in the US, anyone know what it was called, cheers
Flatnose? Is that what you talking about?
could be mate, it's a convertable (or removeable hardtop), has lourves down each side of the bonnet (on the front) and is a V6 (although weren't most 911's at the time running V6's anyway???) and it doesn't have those vents on the front of the wheelarches...
they do a targa one, very rare, my uncle has one.
The flatnose's all have those vents on the rear arches though.
You can buy flatnose conversion kits for these series 911's, so maybe someone done that, and didn't do the rear arches.
actually, i think it may have them, i'll have to have a look sometime (it's sat in one of my garages, belongs to my uncle) I've always been curious, it looks a bit like this, with the vents on the bonnet, (but no roof)
(thats only a pic of a model one though)
i'll have a look tommorow nd see about the vents in the arches...
Yeah that a flatnose then. I've seen a couple of turbo ones running about 600bhp!
This ones pretty mean:

LOL @ sex wee
I see on the other thread you mentioned Targa as being the flatnose, its not.
Targa is what a Porsche with a removeable t-top roof is called.
They are nice motors, your unc should sort it for the summer.
