In another thread someone make a post, he buy'd in the UK an 1.2 16v 6speed Stilo for the winter for only 300GBP.
Same Stilo by us is 3000GBP

Stats are actually 66% lhd vs 34% rhd countries and when you consider us with over 60 million people, Japan with 120 million people and India with over 1 billion people it possibly makes vehicle numbers of each even closer...

Also second hand prices in the UK are nothing to to with being RHD... It's because we have 35 million cars and rising as the people here only seem to want new cars now and don't want second hand cars... Until about 10 years ago second hand was still expensive but in recent years it's rare to see a car more than about 5 years old, especially in London. It's great being able to buy pretty decent cars for a fraction of the new cost!
