    My GT Conversion Diary

    Day 1 - Collecting the donor car.

    took absolutely ages to sort this out, had to collect me mates car, collect the trailer, then drive down the essex for the car.

    during all this, my phone goes dead so i cant phone the guy i'm buying it off.

    not impressed, got there at 10.30pm!!

    car was on the trailer, ready to leave for 11.15pm. lol

    2 hour drive back to northampton and buy the time the trailer was sorted, and my mates car return, it was 2am!

    Day 2 - Today.

    Spent a few hours stripping out the car, dash, engine/gearbox and the whole interior.







    as u can see, its nearly totally stripped now. was supposed to be going to a cruise tonight, but i cant be bothered. all i've gotta do now its get the suspension off and finsish stripping the rest of the car. gonna get it down to the bare shell!

    That must be a pretty early N plate if it's a GT1!

    yup, well i was told its a GT1, i dont have anything that proves it is.
