Never raced one due to them not being that common. My mate has a Turbo'd VTR, and I can just get the edge on him.
Depends what his BHP/Torque, 1/4 miles stats are.
I think it would be close though.
the guy on here told me it's 190bhp and 168 tork...
I am running 177bhp with 205 tork...

If it's a Supercharged VTR as you say it is, it will be about 160/170bhp, maybe slightly over. You should be able to at least draw level with him, if not beat him as you have the torque advantage. Having said that, if it is a VTS, then he'll be running about 210bhp and will more than likely murder you - as Dale said, they can sometimes beat the new style M3's
