Probably a turbo diesel with dump valve becuase theyre arent any turbo'd stilos.
Didn't know that these exist, what engine size are they, price, BHP... etc etc..
A really nice one was right behind me in town dumping away with its extremely loud dumpvalve & is exhaust sounded amazing!!! This was as i was passing the printworks before midnight, it was bright yellow and de-badged!!!
I want one!!!!!!!!!!
reckon one of those engines would fit a punto??

it didn't sound like a diesel to me, and u can tell a turbo diesel dump valve from a normal diesel, as they run at much lower pressure, and exhausts never sound as loud as that on a TD!!!
This sounded sumwhat like a subaru or sumthing, possibly a coupe turbo conversion??
wrong. it's more likely to be a petrol turbo engine with a dv. just not standard.Originally Posted by PJMcD

i know sum one with a DV on a TD escort, and it sounds like when u open a can of coke or sumthin everytime it dumps, too lower pressure, not worth doin it
That stilo was feckin loud and fast though!
I think i've seen it in town... big bean can exhaust on the back?
Didnt hear a d/v tho, but then again i cant hear much over my car
i'm sure it had a dump valve, unless by coincedence another car with a dump valve was right behind it or sumthin!
Its bright yellow, and has a square numberplate to the side like jap import's have!
Didn't notice the exhaust, i drove past it later though and noticed it was debadged at the back
i've seen loads of 306 TD with dump valvesOriginally Posted by Zeus

306 TDs are regularly modified though, so some companys produce dumpvalves for them, though for my mate's escort TD he had to pay nearly £300 for a custom made one!
i know of two stilo jtd around the manchester area with dumpvalves both from negrente(sp?) racing in Italy. One is yellow has a powerflow and 17" chromes, and sounds like the car you saw and the other is a black-un.
Not heard about a turbo'd stilo around, but I'll ask around to see if anyones heard about one. Would be interesting to see it if it existed.
