    Hello everyone!

    Hi All,

I have been reading the odd post by you guys and searching for help when something inevitably needs fixing .... but never got round to making any posts myself until now.

I'm in West Yorkshire and drive a Black Punto Sporting (MK1 '99) that i have owned for the past 7 years (Saved from the scrap heap, Insurance Cat C when i bought it - needed a new rear wing.)

Owned a standard M reg Punto 55 for a year or two before this.

    Other bits added to along the way include;

    • Abarth Body Kit (Front and Rear bumpers, Side skirts, Boot spoiler [then changed to beast rear bumper ‘lip’ bonded to standard bumper])
    • Lowered Suspension (Lowering Springs all round)
    • Uprated Brakes - Front Punto GT Calipers and vented disks - Rear complete back axle from Punto GT)
    • Smoothed Exterior (Bonnet badge, Tailgate badges, Door locks, boot lock, rub strips removed)
    • Alloy Wheels (From Punto MK2)
    • K&N Induction Kit
    • Aftermarket Angel Eye Headlights
    • Tinted rear standard lights
    • Tinted rear side windows
    • Painted Interior Plastics (Centre console/dash Controls & Door Handles)
    • Fiat Coupe Front leather Seats

    So...... hello to everyone!

    Areet!

Car looks nice and clean mate... Lets see an interior shot too!

    Is it a 1.2 or 1.6 sporting?

Any plans on putting a GT lump in there?

Welcome! It does look tres clean. Although I'm not too sure about the mk2 wheels on a mk1.

    Thanks guys.

Its a 1.2 Sporting (T reg) standard engine bay apart from K&N

Yes been looking for an engine change, but looking at the 16vt from my coupe instead.
I had considered the GT engine with it being a simpler fit, but thought if making the jump, make it a big jump!

Will get some pictures of the interior up, hopefully tonight.
