Blue one in Sheerness Kent is an absolute shitter, hope nobody on here wastes their time viewing, went to look at it yesterday as a potential project for my brother. Points not listed on eBay:
Needs a re spray - lacquer peel on entire roof, mirrors etc.
No interior mirror, and ripping it off has chipped and cracked top of screen - need windscreen needed.
Drivers lock drilled - needs new lock. Can be opened with any key, scissors, twig etc.
No log book.
Bonnet has more creases than a badly ironed shirt.
Seems to have lots of non GT parts / trim also so could be a re shell.

Don't know how people have then nerve to list cars so dishonestly. I would rather scrap it than sell a car dishonestly. I have only ever sold 3 cars of the 11 I have bought!
The best part of the whole viewing was when I'd had a good look around the car, having explained i'd had 5 GTs over the years, and the scally selling it says "So, is it a shitter or what mate?!"
How tempted was I to say "well, yeah, actually it is"

His rock bottom figure to me was £500. Worth maybe £300 for engine / parts, but would need £1000+ to put this into any sort of half-decent condition.
I sent him a message last week. I was told the car was 100% mint, but I couldn't view it as someone had offered him £800, so the sale was on hold.
I'm assuming you may be this "someone"?
I asked him what was wrong with it at he said nothing. I asked for proof of mods with receipts and he has none and he said he won't sell it unless it goes for £650+. Crazy webbed feet people!!
He gave me the exact same story, said to me he had a guy who had offered £800 but if i came up with £650 at the weekend, he'd let it go to do me a favour!!! When I viewed it, said he'd take £500. It has no log book, broken locks, needs a re-spray and is actually a Sporting!!! FFS these people are crazy!
Beany - Mjjgt's GT for sale appears to be a good one, decent mods etc.
Yes beware of apparent mods that are hard to see or impossible like forged internals new turbos new cv joints or bearings non standard cams fuel pumps LSDs in the gearbox etc.paperwork or receipts is wots needed.....
