how do you make 280bhp from a mi16?

This engines a stroker 2.1 i think, don't no the exact spec but its built by a bloke called sandy brown, hes built a number of championship winning pug engines at combe and is considered the pug engine guru, think hes broke the 300bhp barrier with a n/a vauxhal xe engine aswel.

Have a look on the 205gti drivers forum for more info as he has built a few engine for people on there.

Best thing to do with this, get it running tax mot and maybe a respray if it won't mop up, keep it bog standard no mods at all and sell it in the summer months as it will fetch more in show season

Spot on should make 2k at least if paint is salvageable, I see some rust though bottom rear 1/4 in the usual place
