it does sound like turbo oil feed/drain

Seal had blown on the oil filter.

Managed to get a new filter fitted it and not a drop came out, even appears to have stopped smoking as well!

Yep fingers crossed it is just that, can't think of any running faults that would cause it really?

Hope not too Chris, sounds fine idling so hopefully it is just that..
