Some **** answer though lol..
I'd say sh1t build, sh1t engine, sh1t car, Dno how it made over 200hp..
it happened because the loctite got stuck between the crank pulley and the nut which created a little gap.. and where the car was bouncing off the limiter it shocked the nut and undone its self a tiny bit.. which allows the crank pulley to vibrate and work loose.. as it hit the limit the pulley got forced forwards and snapped the wood ruff key.. so this time round.. no loctite and just gunned up hard.. see how it goes..... theres ur answers

Its a shame all these novice mistakes are causing breakdowns and failures for you guys.
You shouldn't and don't need glue to hold an engine together, correctly specced bolts done up properly will work, they work for the rest of the world lol.
Bouncing the limiter shouldn't cause problems, but why keep hitting the limiter??
I think that was traction Dan. Launching it is proving difficult.

Need to get these fooking smileys sorted!!!!
Agree with dan, crank pulley nut shouldn't need loctite, just done up to the correct spec.
It was done up correctly lol. The engine just wants to come apart again but thatd not happening.
Limiter ftw lol..
I understand what your all sayin.. We used loctite as we had this problem before with the 1.4.. It kept coming loose reguardless whether we torqued it to 150nm like the book says.. It still came off... Everybody knows ardas middle name is limiter lol.. He loves it.. But sunday at santapod it just wouldnt put the power down no matter what he did.. So limiter ftw lol.. Its sorted now and wont be coming back off for a long while believe me!!!!!
I don't believe you.
