Couple spot welds should stop it
weld the pulley to the crank
Couple spot welds should stop it
Getting any oil seeping from the block ends?
Wonder if the crank is sloshing from side to side?
Pulley would "slosh" with though wouldn't it. Could just be the pure abuse and torque, did it happen on a launch again like Pod? Also if the pulley isn't a really tight fit on the key I'd imagine the momentum the clearance allowed would help sheer the key.
Don't forget its only a banded belt its working against, I think it has little or nothing to do with output. Although mechanical sympathy, or lack of probably won't help.
By sloshing I mean if it is, it could be clattering the pulleys against the block, stressing the outer pulleys inner side against the outer edge of thekey, its clearing a sheering force thats breaking it..
Is the key a tight fit like a woodruff key should be
Yeah woodruff keys tight in the crank
The car judders under 3k rpm due to it needing a tweak as the map wasn't completed.. The timing has been advanced 7 degrees.. Thats the only thing I can think of.
I'd still be saying modify it for 2 or 3 woodruff keys, can't be a bad thing doing it, and if it fixes the problem then it's all good,
If it does it again its gotta be power related
Tbh theres nomore room really for another woodruff key.. As then ul be into the threads
