    Correct, biggest and most obvious fault.

    As far as I'm aware fiat didn't build a 8v fire engined cabbie (1.6 wasn't a fire engine).
    Also, I've never seen a fire engine with an automatic box either.

    They did do SX model cabrios, but a 1.2 8V Selecta is a bit rare, TBH. Of course the 16V bit is nonsense, unless it's been drivetrain converted at some time.

    I'd would say this has been in such a heavy frontal impact that it cracked the block or similar.

    So as well as ordering the wrong replacement bumpers/lights etc....they just got a a cheap engine they had lying around in a scrap Punto and installed it.

    Surprising to find another yellow one on ebay at the same time with 2 numbers dufferent on the regestration. And also pictures from auto italia.

    Yes coincidence but obvious fiat had a batch at one point in time.
