Good
Hi Keri, just as an FYI, and for everyone in general to take note of, the forum's response time between midnight and, say, 4AM GMT is significantly worse, due to lowered priority on the server and daily scheduled maintenance tasks going on in the background. This is especially noticeable in detail when using IE8 on a laptop/PC. Even during the day, at times it may render a page fully yet is still waiting for some final exchange for the URL action to complete.
Good

Considering the cost saving to the Club and other benefits, yes, I'd say so. It's not been an entirely smooth nor trouble-free move, but technical competency with other people's undocumented modifications wasn't discussed in detail beyond the main software involved.
This isn't a severe criticism, only an explanation of some of the inner details of what is truly involved. Most of which are lost to the general user.
ho hmmmm

But it's not about what you or I think, it's about being public about carrying out my responsibilities as a moderator in a rational manner. I don't delete things just for the 'fun' of it, nor because I'm "on a power trip", just to be clear.
I'm sure that you realise that the positions of Administrator or (Super) Moderator carry many additional burdens and sometimes the lack of understanding and/or appreciation of this can be rather trying. But I don't like to moan in public on the forum.
I'm done (maybe only for now).
