I'd say that rare GT's are Rialto blue,Ducale Grey, Turq and Gold. Silver, black, midnight Blue, Exploit and Broom Yellow were common. As for the rest they we're less common because they were sh!t colours.
We've seen plenty of Rialto blue and Turq's through the doors over the years, ceratinaly not as rare as people think.
Didn't realise it would make such a good topic if its been covered before. Ive got a metalic red colour gt 1 looks a smart colour when I get chance I will see if I can up load some photos of the car

One of the first lads I knew with a GT had the burgandy-type red GT2.
