I would be more inclined to stay away from santa pod days over and over. Vary the event. Organise a rolling road day or something.

The well lane day we had a number of years ago in leeds was excellent.

There should be more centralised meetings. Sticking to lakeside etc is certainly going to push the norterners away.

Get ideas in a thread see what people come up with.

Theres no reason why you couldnt organise a meetig at a camping site and book rr day for the day after.

At least theres a purpose then.

too true ill host a lakeside run too Birmingham and see how that goes but dtm (Dan) has got one soon so after that its game time for you lot

instead of belittle people try helping (i dont mean you at all before you think that )

Its a nice thought and I would support it if something viable was an option.

Financially its not something the club account can really chip money into, hosting, software, back up and service all cost a bomb, plus retaining revenue to keep the place going should numbers dwindle. There isn't that much available anyway.

We have saved up money to pay for the merchandise everyone was up in arms about not being able to get, we get some bits done and it takes weeks for them to sell, even at a great price!

best bit would bye north weild rwyb its cheap and a good track printed times also photos

North Weald is a sh1t track, the surface is crap.

It's a good idea but will never happen, 80% of the members here are tighter than a ducks @rse and won't even spend the money on half decent parts never mind an event like this.

Santapod would cost a fortune to hire for the day I imagine.
