i think this is something for the mods to discuss and see if its pheasable before anything else goes ahead
As much good intention can be put into any event like this. However even the mad trax day i attempted didnt get enough intrest from the people in the south as thats where most people are from. The lack of travelling from most people is what lets the club down.
I can try again for this event but i suspect the outcome will be the same again.
Its unlikely the club wiuld raise the amount of money needed for renting a track.

To be fair you posted in the thread so i think you did.
I kept in in new tgreads for over two weeks. Just people wouldnt show the interest.
I dont think there would be many punto owners willing to fork out 90-110 for 1 day and probably 3-4 strip runs to be honest jamie.

I would be more inclined to stay away from santa pod days over and over. Vary the event. Organise a rolling road day or something.
The well lane day we had a number of years ago in leeds was excellent.
There should be more centralised meetings. Sticking to lakeside etc is certainly going to push the norterners away.
Get ideas in a thread see what people come up with.
Theres no reason why you couldnt organise a meetig at a camping site and book rr day for the day after.
At least theres a purpose then.
