Not all paddle clutches are the same, Hans. Number of paddles, friction material, sprung/unsprung, strength of the springs....many affecting factors.

Please show us where you can get a high performance clutch, hydraulic release bearing and flywheel combo which will withstand the rigours of a lot of torque and repeated drag strip racing for any less.

Stupid question but how do you normally drive on a paddle clutch. I know the answer but wonder if your driving style has anything to do with the premature wear?

Yes it is stupid, so why post it up? (it's a drag car btw).

PAddles are a pain in the arse. You MUST spin your front wheels everytime (effectively dropping the clutch) you pull away otherwise you just grinding it away everytime. Traffic is a no no too. Its really hard to use them effectively without reverting back to as if they can be slipped.

When I was young and being educated (and we all still are I guess) I was told that if you had nothing of any use to say then you shouldn't say anything at all, I always though it was very wise advice.
