Well I got the red tinting spray out again and did my reverse light. To match the red fog light.

Tiny update. A pic of how it is at the moment after a quick wash.
And for the small update. Decided to cut down my gear stick after seeing how much of an improvement it makes on other forums / cars.
Had a quick drive up the street and it feels amazing! Proper slots into gear so easy now, no massive long throws.
Around 50mm off the original length.
Got an aftermarket air filter from ebay for £8. However wanted to make it a little enclosed as it was just hanging there before.
Had to chop up the air box a little bit to get it to fit but im happy with it now.
It's pretty enclosed now and at least the air feed is pointing to the filter.

And after. The plastic should shield some of the heat, obviously not fully enclosed but better than it was.

not a fan of cone filters on diesels, tried one i had lying round on mine and took it straight back off
How come you removed it?
it sounded god awful, overly boomy and a droneing type noise, even at idle, light loads an overrun
