    Welcome to Floc-king

Hi and welcome to Floc-king. here is a bit about us and what we do. most of you may know what flocking is and what it is used for but here is an insight into what we do and the service we offer.

We are a UK Flocking specialist based in Nottingham, East Midlands. We Specialise in Flocking Car parts for the Motorsport industry and Car styling for show Cars and other Vehicles.

Electrostatic flocking is used extensively in the automotive industry for coating dashboards, Centre Consoles, Glove Boxes, Door Cards, Coin Trays and many other bits of interior Trim. Rally Cars have their Dashboards Flocked to reduce reflections and glare and to provide an as new finished to a modified Dash. Roll Cages and other items such as Gauge Pods can be Flocked. It is a very popular styling solution in the Car modifying scene. Flock is known for its acoustic properties and can be used to coat speaker boxes and door builds on Audio installs. Flock can also help to reduce condensation inside a Vehicle. Flock can be applied to many suitable surfaces, even under Bonnet parts such as Inlet Manifolds, Air Boxes and Rocker Covers for noise reduction and styling. With a large colour range available, all sorts of modern styles can be achieved. Flock can be applied to a range of materials including plastic, metal, wood, rubber and fibreglass.

    Key points:

    Flocking:

Reduces glare on Dashboards on race and road cars.

Achieves unique styling with a wide choice of colours

Adds style and a new looking finish to interior plastic parts.

Has great acoustic property on speaker boxes and audio installs.

    Can reduce condensation on windscreens

    Provides a none slip surface

Provides a Velvet like surface, which is soft to the touch.

We are car enthusiasts ourselves so we are always happy to discuss you plans, projects and requirements.

I will be posting up some of our services and price structures and we will also be giving discounts to Puntosports club members. aswell as setting up group buys for bigger discounts.

Hi, thanks for taking time to look at some of our work.

We have many more pictures and things to add to the page that will also be on our new website, but because the jobs come in and get sent back out so quickly, there isnt always time to get pictures of every single job. keep looking back on the page though for any updates as I will be doing my best to update things on a regular basis.

Feel free to pass the info onto any forums and friends.

    Thanks

    Chris.

The front of an airbag panel can be done as flock is not a solid material like leather that would stop it from deploying correctly. It will still deploy as normal because its only fibres and resin thats on top of the airbag deployment zone. I however accept no liability for anyone messing with their airbags functionality. all modifications to a car are done at the owners risk. Most people have their dashes flocked now without any concern.

    cheers

    Chris
