    triple post ftw, wheres edit button when you need it lol

    I meant to say, either its genuine and the inlet has upped the boost by 0.3bar, OR, the MAP sensor is lying. Ideas? It isnt screwed down all that hard.

    about the trigger angle.

    Dta has one cell and wants that in degrees before BTDC.
    I have put 114 degrees according this


    in a dta forum told me tha when i see with the timing light i must see double degrees.
    When i saw 10 degrees in laptop i see 20 degrees with the timing light.

    Can someone confirm the the spark BTDC, is 114 degrees?

    IMHO 114deg is OK

    First time we had 116deg with stroboscope at idle, with fixed 10deg advance, a later MS install in another PGT recognized the guy who installed me too, this setting was not 100% correct, and 114 is the real value

    By me was some problem with the crank sensor under 1000rpm, the signal jumped for and back. Seen with the Tunerstudio sw in the "wheel logger" the crank's 60-2 wheel was sometimes 59-2 and sometimes 60-1, but only when the rpm was under 1000, and the mark on the camshaft's wheel also jumped for and back. The gap was 1mm between the sensor and the wheel (0.5-1.5mm is OK)

    What turbo do u have install?
    According the ignition calculator and a lot of reading i think that you have a lot of advance at high rpm.
    What is your afr above 4500 rpm and 200kpa?

    i have 5 degrees at high rpm and high pressure.
    but i cannot find the right values for injectors.

    KKK K04-023 (from Audi TT, 1.8 20vT Quattro), with Garrett T2 turbine house, spools up on low rpms too and has 1.6bar boost at 7700rpm too. From 1600rpm it is on boost, the MAP was 112kPa from this engine speed

    i don't know the AFR this a as is mapping now, the engine is fresh rebuilded, so was not on load with this map, runned only 4-500kms
