Until then, CHECK YOUR SPELLING JAMIE!!!!!!!
Ok so keep seeing coupes and now i really want one I'm told the 20vt 6speed is the best model for reliability etc what are your experiencrs or knowledge! Coil packs and injecters are shhit to ceck six belt oul pressure should be around 2.5 bar once warm
Until then, CHECK YOUR SPELLING JAMIE!!!!!!!
Ask wilky, he had one
I did, and loved it. Never had any engine problems at all. Or gearbox. Only a clutch and timing belt in the 18 months I had it.
Get a 6 speed, LE or a plus model.
Make the best noize ever and regularly did 35mpg on a run! If I had another one I would concentrate a bit more on handling, they're fairly nose heavy!
Some inspiration....

cambelts often are a problem on the 20v or so i heard
A bit of a problem to change. Some normal garages won't do them because there's no room. I changed mine myself and it was a royal PITA!
fiat = check for rust
cambelts pricey to change, i done a few with the engine still in but your ment to drop the engine out
oil pressure same as a gt
oil cooler pipes rot £300ish for new ones
chod are comman to burst
manifold's crack and blow when cold
early 5 spd boxs are the strongest, but only have issues when 400bhp and you launch them
listen to teacher and stop slouching at your keyboard sonny!
If you buy one youve got a coupe speciliast, oops sorry Sir, "specialist" down the road - Paul Gilbert down at MotorMech next to the Bull Ring in B'ham.
He also sells the odd Coupe but these tend to be around the £4k mark but are sorted examples. This is the man who first sussed out that the engine could stay in the car for a cambelt change thus saving hundreds of pounds in labour.
Tuning potential is in a different league to the tiny 1.4 PGT
Excuse my spelling silly touch phone is hard to type on lol! What's a decent price then around 3k for a decent one private sale?? I wanted one last year but decided to keep the gt going instead??
