There's nothing wrong with a bit of constructive critisism. Although I can't help feeling there's a bug going round, Debo actually gave Cetins car a compliment!

Can we keep personal feelings aside and maybe concentrate on the fact that another person has achieved almost 300hp from the dinosaur 1400cc engine that we all know??

Very impressive results and agree with Todd and matt. We have a punto on the forum that's made impressive power and it's been shot down.
I'll get to a10 soon to see this in action im looking forward to it

Certainly is a special result. Especially from the bosch. However i dont think that thier was a doubt in my mind it couldnt be achived using it. Its a management system in itself. However who does it. I think mainley companies dont equipthemselves for mapping such as this and force people for standalone etc because its easier for them to do.

Certainly its a good result. But i think a lot of stick comes with the super secrecy of things like this. As do the opinions.

If information is not wished to be given out then nobody can expect any less.

Its unfortute that the build isnt yet bringing forth a new breed of 1400 monstors.

I certainly would like to read about it.

Just to elaborate on a few things, so that anyone new reading this or who doesn't know the history can keep up; Cetin was banned for being bullish, aggressive and threatening towards several members of the forum. His secrecy towards the project, for whatever the reason, did him no favours at all, and as such he found it difficult to control his temper when he came under scrutiny. The idea of the forum is to be a 'community' where we all help each other out, and Cetin did not grasp this concept. Yes, I was also banned at the same time for 'provoking him', but on the whole I have given more to this forum in this week alone than he did throughout his time here.

Moving on, as a fan of fast Punto's, I can say that 293hp is not to be scoffed at, but sadly when aiming for peak power, that is all there is to fall back on. Everyone builds a car to their own personal choices and for their own satisfaction - does this wow me personally? no. Will it wow the masses? yes, probably. Good luck to him in finding the final 7hp.
If you have any car care related questions, ask me in the Cleaning/Detailing section.

Use Siemens Deka4 injectors, High-Z, EV-1 style, and they are cheap.
I told you guys many times, these never runs out from fuel.

    Arda is he mad lol
how can he possibly build 300hp car and neglect a LSD or was this why u were asking about my gearbox and LSD ?
wouldn't mind seeing this try and navigate a track such as brands though could be interesting

Having only met Cetin for the first time at the last bluewater meet, it quickly became obvious he's very intelligent and had sights set very high for car. You can quickly tell who's a bullsh1tter and who's not. All his hard work has payed off it would seem!

Limping it around London that night on a bar of boost and the methanol etc the thing was making was tracks!

A lot of people have commented on the torque figure being low, and it is barely much over that of a standard car but when do these engines ever make an impressive torque figure?!

I'm definitely going to have to take mine a stage further though lol
