going over the scratch with high build could and most probably would sink over time leaving the scratch visible again. best to get rid of it completely first.
the best option is to flat the scratch out with some p400 and finish off with p800 on a rubber block. from there you could be lucky and just base it up. but usually it would need a lick of high build primer, then flat the primer with p800 and base up.
Thanks rick but that sounds like too much hard work and i aint that confident to try it on this car yet.
So far i cant do anything with the weather being sh1t 1 minute and sunshine the next
