this ecu was in perfect touch punto when it was running 308bhp... surely it won't reset when its disconnected??
No, it wont reset, but the map wont be of use to whoever uses it next for 2 reasons;
1) their car is highly unlikely to be the same spec
2) the PT car broke eventually, so why would you want the map from a broken car?
Whoever buys this, I'd have thought, would just simply fit it, and then have it remapped immediately. That's what I'd do. It's a good ECU, the newer version of what Wild Bill runs in his GT.
Yeah stick the ecu in and get it mapped, no messing around..
